Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (24 to 26 oz.) pkg. hash brown potatoes
    1/2 lb. mild Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients.
    Crumble crackers or cornflakes on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
