Navajo Frybread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. dry yeast
Preparation
    Enough warm water or milk to make a soft dough.
    Mix ingredients and knead the resulting dough for about 10 minutes (while oil is heating to a smoking hot).
    Hand pat into thin, flat circles the size of a pancake.
    Keep submerged in deep hot oil until brown.
    Serve at once.
    Add honey, if desired.
