Cherry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. Crisco (work in by hand)
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Use jelly roll pan.
    Mix ingredients well.
    Reserve small amount of dough.
    Roll large portion and place on shallow cooking sheet.
    Fill with 2 to 4 cans cherry pie filling (or you favorite flavor.)
    Use remaining dough for strips on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Serves 12.
