Raisin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. raisins
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs, separated
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. evaporated milk
Preparation

Wash raisins first; simmer in the 1 cup of water for 10 minutes.
Add salt and sugar; cook until sugar is dissolved.
Beat egg yolks.
Mix cornstarch and milk to raisins and stir.
Cook until thickened.
Pour into 2 baked 9-inch pie shells.
