White Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. chopped candied cherries (not maraschino cherries)
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients and stir over moderate heat until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil.
Boil to 238\u00b0 (soft ball stage).
Remove from heat and allow to cool until 110\u00b0, about 1 hour.
Add vanilla and beat until mixture just begins to lose its gloss.
Quickly stir in nuts and cherries.
Turn into buttered 8 x 8-inch pan. Cool and cut.
