Moira'S Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    sweet potatoes
    butter
    1- 1 1/2 c. sugar
    marshmallows
Preparation
    Boil sweet potatoes until the outside skin peels off, and then peel them.
    Slice potatoes into 1/4 in. slices and layer the bottom of a casserole dish.
    Slice butter into pieces and sprinkle 1 c. to 1 1/2 c. of sugar.
    Repeat layers until gone.
    Bake at 375 to 425 degrees until syrupy.
    Top with marshmallows.
