Silly Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
    12 crushed saltines
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat
    egg
    whites
    until
    stiff.
    Add
    sugar and baking powder.
    To
    this
    mixture
    add 1 cup pecans, the crushed saltines and
    the
    vanilla.
    Pour into greased pie plate (9-inch) and bake at
    325\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Whip 1/2 pint cream.
    Add 3/4 cup drained crushed pineapple.
    Pour this on top of cooled pie.
