Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 onions
    12 red peppers
    12 green peppers
    4 c. sugar
    1 qt. white vinegar
    celery seed
    mustard seed
Preparation
    Chop peppers and onions; put in 4-quart pan.
    Bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes.
    Remove from pot and drain.
    Place back in pan and add sugar, vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Bring to a boil.
    Lower heat and simmer 45 minutes.
    Pour into clean hot jars and seal right away.
    Makes up to 9 pints, depending on size of peppers and onions.
