Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 qt. raw diced apples
    1 c. cornstarch
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. apple pie spice
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice (add after mixture is thick)
    1 tsp. salt
    10 c. water
Preparation
    Fill 7 quart jars with diced apples.
    Combine all other ingredients and boil until thickened, then add lemon juice. Pour over diced apples.
    Allow 1-inch headspace.
    Process in hot water bath for 20 minutes.
