Chocolate Scotchroos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Rice Krispies
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips (I use milk chocolate)
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Combine sugar and syrup in a large heavy saucepan and cook over medium heat until it boils, stirring often.
    Remove from heat and mix in peanut butter.
    Add cereal; pat into 9 x 13-inch buttered pan.
    Melt chips together in double boiler and spread over bars.
    Cut into bars and cool in fridge.
