Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. salt
    granulated sugar
Preparation
    Mix shortening, brown sugar, egg and molasses. Blend in remaining ingredients, except granulated sugar.
    Cover and chill 1 hour.
