Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
    2 to 3 stalks celery, thinly sliced
    1 sweet onion, sliced in rings and separated
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    1 c. mayo (not Miracle Whip)
    1/2 c. sour cream
    8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Layer first 5 ingredients in a bowl (looks nice in a clear glass bowl).
    Combine mayo and sour cream; spread over salad, sealing it.
    Sprinkle cheese over top.
    Refrigerate overnight.
