Lemon Meringue Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. cold water
    2 c. boiling water
    5 beaten egg yolks
    2/3 c. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and cold water together.
    Add this to the boiling water.
    Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Add to the egg yolks, lemon juice and butter or oleo.
    Cook 2 minutes longer.
    Cool.
    Put in baked pie shells.
