Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 chicken halves
    4 c. water
    salt
    5 chopped mushrooms
    1 carrot, peeled, quartered and diced
    1/2 c. garden peas
    1 small onion
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. warm water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook chicken breasts in 4 cups of water and salt. Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
    Remove meat from bone and set aside.
    Reserve 2 cups of broth.
    Combine next 4 ingredients and salt and pepper; cook in reserved broth, stirring constantly (cook on medium heat until it comes to boil).
    Dissolve cornstarch in warm water.
    Pour into vegetables.
    Add chicken. Pour into double crust pie shell.
    Perforate the top crust.
    Cook 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
