Ground Beef Cornbread Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 can tomato soup
1 can water
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
Preparation

Brown meat in skillet, mix in onion and green pepper.
Saute 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients except cornbread mix.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Pour into casserole dish.
Mix cornbread according to package directions and spoon over top of casserole.
Bake uncovered 20 minutes at 425\u00b0 or until cornbread is golden brown. Bake in deep dish (9 x 9-inches).
Serves 8.
