Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, separated
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice or 1 lemon, squeezed
3 Tbsp. water
1 c. sugar, divided
1 baked pie shell
Preparation

Put
egg
yolks
(beaten) in top of double boiler.
Add lemon juice and peel, water and 1/2 cup sugar gradually.\tCook over
hot water until thick, stirring constantly.
Remove from hot
water. Beat
egg
whites until stiff.
Beat in remaining 1/2 cup sugar and beat until glossy.
Fold 1/2 egg whites into egg mixture.
