Chili-Cheese Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. wheat flour
    3/4 c. margarine, softened
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. (4 oz.) green chilies, chopped and drained
    2 Tbsp. onions, chopped
Preparation
    Mix egg, flour, margarine, cornmeal and chili powder together. Press into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    Mix remaining ingredients together; spread evenly over baked layer.
    Return to oven for additional 20 minutes.
    When cool, cut into 3 x 1-inch bars.
