Raisin Cream Pie - cooking recipe

1 (8-inch) pie crust
1 c. raisins
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1 c. pecan pieces
Preparation

Put raisins in colander; pour boiling water over.
Combine eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, lemon juice and margarine. Mix thoroughly by hand (do not use mixer).
In unbaked pie shell, pour raisins and nuts.
Pour egg mixture into unbaked pastry shell over nuts and raisins.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes, or until set in center.
