Muffins Or Corn Sticks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1 1/3 c. milk or 1 3/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. vegetable oil or melted shortening
2 c. self-rising corn meal
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Grease skillet or pan and preheat. Beat egg in bowl; then add remaining ingredients and blend well. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
Makes one 9-inch skillet or one 9-inch square pan.
(Batter should be creamy and pourable.
If too thick, add a little more liquid.)
