Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. flour (plain)
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter or margarine.
    Add eggs one at a time. Sift flour, salt and soda together.
    Put 1/2 cup flour in at a time, alternating with sour cream.
    Add vanilla and lemon.
    Grease and flour bottom and sides of a 12-inch tube pan.
    Put wax paper on bottom of pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
