Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 slices bacon
    1 onion, sliced
    4 medium potatoes, sliced
    2 c. water
    6 large crackers
    2 c. milk
    2 c. cooked corn
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook bacon, drain and cut into pieces.
    Add onion to drained fat and cook until tender and lightly browned.
    Add potatoes and water and cook until tender.
    Soak crackers in milk.
    Add corn and soaked crackers to the mixture.
    Heat to a boil.
