Pickled Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. apple cider vinegar
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 large sweet peppers (green or red)
    2 c. chopped onion
    1 3/4 Tbsp. dry mustard
    8 or 9 medium size squash, sliced (about 8 c.)
Preparation
    In a large bowl (not metal), mix sliced squash and salt and set aside for 1 hour.
    Mix all seasoning ingredients with squash, then place combined mixture in a large pan; bring to a boil and pour into jars.
