Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage
    1 small onion
    1 green pepper
    celery seed
    salt and pepper
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Shred cabbage, onion and pepper.
    Put in bowl in layers. Season each layer with salt, pepper and celery seed.
    Bring oil, vinegar and sugar to boil; pour over salad slowly.
    Let stand in refrigerator overnight.
    In morning, remove some of liquid and stir.
