Sherbet Tea Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. strong hot tea
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 pt. ginger ale, chilled
    1 pt. orange sherbet
Preparation
    Pour hot tea over sugar; stir until dissolved.
    Add juices and refrigerate.
    When ready to serve, add ginger ale and spoon in sherbet.
    Makes 16 cups.
