Ingredients

3 eggs
5 heaping Tbsp. flour
warm water
2 c. white sugar
handful of coconut
2 c. milk
1 stick butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 (9-inch) pie shells
Preparation

Separate eggs.
Put flour into slightly beaten egg yellows. Add just enough warm water to make soupy.
Will be slightly lumpy. Place over open flame.
Add sugar and milk.
When thick and separated from pan, turn off heat.
Add butter, vanilla and coconut.
Pour into pie shell.
Cover with beaten egg whites. Sprinkle with coconut.
Brown and enjoy.
