Pecan Log - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (6 oz.) caramel or butterscotch chips
    1/4 c. butter
    dash of salt
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    1/4 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Melt chips and butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add salt.
    Add sugar alternately with milk, blending well.
    Add vanilla and mix well.
    Chill in refrigerator 20 to 30 minutes.
