Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. Crisco oil
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    3 c. chopped apples
    1 c. nuts, broken
    1 large pkg. butterscotch chips (I use 1/2 bag)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar and apples.
    Let stand.
    Beat eggs slightly and beat in oil and vanilla.
    Alternate flour and apple mixture.
    Add nuts. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle butterscotch chips on top.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
