Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cold biscuits (homemade), broken in small pieces
    2 (1 pt.) cans tomatoes
    2/3 c. sugar (heavy)
    1/2 stick butter
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Cover bottom of greased baking dish with bread crumbs from 2 biscuits.
    Add 1 can of tomatoes and juice, 1/2 of the sugar and 1/2 of the butter.
    For the second layer, add the remaining tomatoes, sugar, butter, nutmeg and bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
    Stir 3 or more times while baking.
