Summertime Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. fresh summer squash
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
    2 eggs
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
    9 salted crackers, crushed
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Wash, cut and boil squash until tender.
    In a mixing bowl, combine onion, bell pepper, eggs, soup, bacon, crackers, salt, pepper, garlic powder and cheese.
    Drain squash and add to the mixture and stir.
    Pour into a buttered casserole dish.
    Bake at 375\u00b0, uncovered, for 45 to 60 minutes, until brown.
