Apple Crisp 1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. peeled apple slices
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    2/3 c. grated Cheddar cheese (optional)
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. margarine
Preparation
    Generously grease a 2 to 3-quart casserole.
    Add the apple slices and sprinkle with lemon juice and 1/2 cup sugar.
    In a bowl, mix flour and remaining sugar.
    Cut in margarine and cheese with a pastry blender.
    Sprinkle over apples and press very lightly with fingers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until apples are tender and top is lightly browned.
