Aunt Fern'S Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pork sausage
2 green bell peppers, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cans cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 1/2 c. milk
2 oz. jar pimento, diced
8 oz. can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
4 oz. jar mushrooms, sliced and drained
2/3 c. uncooked long grain rice
Preparation

Cook sausage until browned; drain. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
Cover.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Uncover and stir.
Bake an additional 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes.
Garnish with fresh mushrooms and pepper strips.
Yields 10 to 12 servings.
