Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 (11 1/2 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips
    ground pecans
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar, syrup and water.
    Heat, stirring constantly\tuntil boiling.\tBoil to 300\u00b0 (brittle stage, about 20 minutes).
    Remove from heat.
    Pour immediately on 10 x 15 x 1-inch pan lined with aluminum foil.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips over top until melted.
    Spread evenly.
    Sprinkle ground pecans on top. Cool.
    Break into pieces.
    Yield:
    1 1/2 pounds.
