Texas Taco Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    8 c. taco flavored tortilla corn chips
    4 c. grated Cheddar cheese (2 lb.)
Preparation
    Brown and drain beef and onions.
    Add tomato sauce; simmer 5 minutes.
    Place 6 cups of chips in a 4-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle 2 cups cheese over top.
    Pour on the meat sauce.
    Top with remaining chips.
    Place remaining 2 cups cheese over.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Makes 8 servings.
