Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 large potatoes
    salt to taste
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. milk
    water
Preparation
    Peel and cut potatoes into about 8 pieces each.
    Place in saucepan and cover with water.
    Salt may be added before or after cooking.
    Bring to boil and turn down heat to low.
    Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes until potatoes are tender.
    Drain broth from potatoes and put potatoes into mixer bowl.
    Beat on low speed until potato chunks are broken up.
    Add margarine and beat on medium speed until potatoes are smooth.
    Add milk and beat on medium speed until milk is blended with potatoes.
