Green Chili Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    8 oz. can green chilies
    11 oz. Fritos
    1 lb. Velveeta
    Wesson oil
    2 c. water, divided
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Chop onion fine and fry in small amount of oil until tender. Add chopped green chilies and 1 cup of water; simmer 5 minutes. Butter a casserole.
    Put a layer of Fritos, layer of grated or sliced Velveeta and layer of chili-onion sauce.
