Rose'S Legendary Honey Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large eggs, separated, the whites at room temperature
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 C. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. strong flavored honey (preferably buckwheat)
    1/4 c. double strength brewed coffee
    1 1/2 tsp. finely grated lemon rind
    2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. whiskey
    3 Tbsp. sliced almonds
    1 1/2 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    1-2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. diced apples
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Pour into angel or bundt pan. Bake 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
