Pork Chops Baked In Sour Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 center cut pork chops (1 to 1 1/2-inches thick)
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 cloves
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Melt butter in frying pan.
    Season chops and dredge in flour. Brown in butter.
    Insert clove in each chop and arrange in a baking dish.
    Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan drippings; bring to boil and pour over the meat.
    Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for
    1 1/2 hours.
    Remove cover; turn up heat to 500\u00b0 and allow chops to brown slightly.
