Smothered Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oil
    6 pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Cook chops and onion in oil until brown, about 10 minutes. Spoon off excess fat.
    Stir in soup and water.
    Cover and simmer about 10 minutes or until tender.
