Peanut Butter Roll - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. white Karo
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
powdered sugar
Preparation

Boil sugar, water and Karo until it spins a thread when spoon is lifted out of syrup.
Pour syrup over egg whites slowly.
Add enough powdered sugar to make soft dough.
Turn out on board lightly dusted with powdered sugar.
Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness.
Spread peanut butter and roll up jelly roll style. Slice in 1/2-inch slices.
