Cheesy Round Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    6 small onions
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. water (added as needed)
    1/4 c. Parmesan
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
Preparation
    Cut steak into pieces; pour to 1/2-inch thick.
    Combine egg to milk and crumbs with salt and pepper.
    Dip steak into egg bath, then into bread crumbs.
    Brown meat in drippings.
    Add water; sprinkle on oregano.
    Place 2 tablespoons of cheese on each piece. Put onions on meat.
    Cover and cook at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
