Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. sour milk
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 2/3 c. rhubarb
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream shortening and brown sugar.
    Add egg, then sour milk, flour, salt, soda and rhubarb.
    Mix well and pour into an 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Combine sugar and cinnamon and pour over cake batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
