Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (28 oz. or larger) can Italian peeled tomatoes (San Marzano tomatoes best)
    2 to 3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 medium onion
    3 to 4 cloves garlics
    1 to 2 tsp. basil leaves
    2 to 3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Blend tomatoes in blender. Set aside. Saute chopped onion and garlic in olive oil in a big pan.
    Pour in tomatoes and stir.
    Add basil and sugar to taste.
    Simmer over medium heat for at least 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Pour over 1 to 2 pounds of favorite pasta.
