Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, unbeaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream together shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and beat until very creamy and smooth.
Add vanilla and lemon.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to creamed mixture alternating with milk.
Pour into a well-greased and floured tube cake pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
