Pecan Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter (not margarine)
1 box light brown sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour (plain)
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, chopped

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Sift flour and salt and add to mixture. Add vanilla. Fold in nuts which have been floured. Bake in oblong or square pan at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour or until done.
