Quick Lo-Fat Herb Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 1/4 tsp. oregano and basil*
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Saute onion in vegetable spray (i.e., Pam); add garlic.
    Stir in tomato paste, water, oregano and basil, sugar, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serve over spaghetti; sprinkle with grated cheese.
