Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    5 large eggs
    1 c. water or milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    1 can flaked coconut
Preparation
    Beat shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add milk. Combine salt, baking powder and flour; add to sugar mixture.
    Add flavorings and coconut.
    Pour into greased tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    Place on rack; cool.
    Cover lightly until cold.
