Baked Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
3 eggs
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Scald milk.
Put eggs in a bowl; beat just until the whites and yolks are mixed.
Add the sugar, salt and nutmeg; stir until blended.
Gradually stir the hot milk into the egg mixture, stirring constantly.
Pour into 6 custard cups; put in baking pan with 1 inch of hot water.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until done.
Remove cups from hot water to cool.
Makes 6 servings.
