Icicle Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. cider vinegar
    1/3 c. med. coarse salt
    1 c. sugar
    garlic
    pickling onions
Preparation
    Cut large cucumbers into 4-8 pieces lengthwise.
    Let stand in ice water 8 hours or overnight.
    Pack into hot sterilized jars. Fill each jar with 2 pieces of garlic and pickling onion.
