Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs (save whites for meringue)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. cold water
    1 1/4 c. hot water
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Blend cold, then hot water into mixture of sugar, cornstarch and salt. Cook over low heat. Stir constantly until thick.
    Slowly blend egg yolks. Return to heat and cook 2 minutes. Add lemon juice and rind.
    Cook until desired thickness. Remove from heat. Add butter. Pour into cooked pie shell. Top with stiffly beaten meringue.
