Paprika Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. corn oil, divided
    3 lb. lean beef chuck, cut into cubes, or tip steak
    6 large yellow onions, coarsely chopped
    3 large garlic cloves, minced
    2 Tbsp. caraway seed
    1 Tbsp. crumbled marjoram
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 qt. hot water
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    4 large green peppers, cut into 1-inch squares
Preparation
    Heat 4 tablespoons oil in large heavy kettle, add one-third of beef and brown for 3 or 4 minutes.
    Remove from pan and repeat with remaining meat.
